UPdate

Yup, it’s spelled UP-date
All my data was wiped from my macbook due to a bug in the snow leopard system. For those of you upgraded to snow leopard, please disable your guest account.
Went to Mohonk over last weekend. Longest days of my life. 5-6 hours hiking each day isn’t fun at all. Doing it with little kids, you do not want to go there.
More overall, new band of the month : Limp Bizkit

I started playing Counter Strike 1.6..AGAIN.

It has been an awful long time since I touched the game at all. I must say, I’m still impressed by the number of people playing this game.

The game is basically team based. It features a counter terriost (CT) and a terriost(T) side. The CT side prevents the T side from planting the bomb, and defuse it in time. If the bomb explodes, the T side wins.

As I have discovered, most people who are playing the game are still little kids, complaining.

List of reasons why this game is fun

1) FPS

2) Modern Gun usage

3) Very competitive.

List of reasons why this game is NOT fun

1) E Thugs

2) Hackers

3) Whinners

4) Lone Wolves who baits teammates for scores.

5) server latency

Overall, 9/10.

laters.

Hmmm..

June 3, 2009

Does the picture  makes you feel happy? It sure did a good job on me.

Anyways…. What’s to write about.

Oh yeah, school.

Today is the senior prom.

No I’m not a senior, and I did not expect to be invited by a upper classman, or woman in this case. LOL

What I did today:

1) Read all the posts on Digg (I stole the image^^)

2) Read most of the articles on ZDNet… Yes, I know, I know. I’m a wannabe geek. What are you going to do about it? =)

3) Watched the news from 6 to 7. Yes Brian Williams, I missed you today. I know that I’m more into politics, but recently CNN just haven’t done the job for me. So NBC, you got one more viewer!

4) Watched Jeopardy (It’s my dream to go on the show one day. But I probably won’t. So this will stay as a dream)

5) Watched Wheel of Fortune (Man! The show justs gives out so much money and prices. Well not really, after the tax reduction there isn’t much left. I think..)

6) Writing this useless post that almost no one reads…

What I am planning to do for the night and tomorrow.

1) Shower

2) Sleep (No school tomorrow. Horray for Brooklyn and Queens day. I know most of yall at Manhattan and Bronx and SI will be pissed.)

3) Wake up at 8am

4) Go to my friend’s house for a party

5) Watch E3’s ending.

6) Repeat.

Let’s end this with E. Anderson’s lyrics shall we.

I’ve been waiting on the slide
Suggest I open wide
No incentive to hide
Happy coursing through my veins
Don’t even know my name
When I’m up you’re coming down

Inside of me, some sight to see
Some sight to feel our earthy bed

When we’re wrapped in polythene
What’s that supposed to mean
Paper flowers bring me luck
No birds in sight I fear
Stick sticks in you my dear
When I’m up you’re coming down

Some say I’m vague
And I’d easily fade
Foolish parade of fantasy

Drink in your eyes
Drink in your sighs
Grass in my thighs my aching legs

See you all later.

New Update

May 31, 2009

I just quit World of Warcraft. I know right?~~

Reason: 1) I’m super broke

2) Raids up to 5-6 hours?– 10pm -3am in the morning isn’t so great, especially on a Tuesday, when we have school next day

3) People I know in real life transferred out of my server.

4) I’m just too OP for the game.

Accomplishment on the game:

1) 1-80 in less than a week, thanks to Joana

2) made it to 1.8K+ in arena (150+ ranked in battlegroup)

3) one of the best PVP ret paladin on Blood Furnace Horde side.

Now…. What’s new?

I started playing Rock Band 2 on the X Box 360… lol

So far, I’ve completed the endless playlist set, which is 84 songs in a row without stopping or pausing or failing.

Progressing to hard difficulty on singing and bass.

What I can conclude from the game:

1) Vision is the hardest song on guitar, and yet the easiest song on singing. (YOU can literally FC 100% on expert, ANYONE can)

2) Online band play are very disapointing, people quitting all the time in the middle and makes you fail.

3) Your finger + wrist + mouth might hurt for a while.

4) good songs are only DLC

Songs that I like on Rock Band 2

1)Alive- Pearl Jam

2)Today – Smashing Pumpkins

3)E-Pro – Beck

4) Drain You – NNirvana

5) Everlong – Foo Fighters

6)Mountain Song – Jane’s Addiction

7)Spoonman – Soundgarden

8) De-Luxe – Lush

I give the game 10/10

P.S: Rock Band guitar sucks, please pick up the Guitar Hero series if you want to progress.

Hello World!!!

December 11, 2008

I’m back to blogging. Being AFK for 2 months isn’t so great, so what’s up?

First I want to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Hope everyone will get tons of presents, and visit their grandparents over the winter break!

Now back to my life. It sucks. Don’t ask.

Anyways, I’m wishing for a Bose Headphone. I so need those soundproofed headphones during my morning commute from Brooklyn to the Bronx. Takes 2 hours for a single ride to my school. The 4 train is so crowded during the morning. I kept getting stepped on . *sadface*

Also the new google android phone is also cool. My friend recently obtained it. I was playing with it, and the sliding keyboard is so cool. You should definitely get the phone, if you are a fan of touch screen and full qwerty keyboard.
I’ll be back. – T1000 (good old Arnold and his buff body)

Appeals court puts Republican Peter Koo gets back on state Senate ballot

Thursday, August 21st 2008, 6:30 PM

Peter Koo is back on the ballot.

The prominent Flushing businessman is once again a Republican candidate for state Senate after an appeals court Thursday overturned a judge’s decision to toss him from the ballot for residency reasons.

“The American judicial system worked,” Koo said, jubilant at being freed to resume his upstart challenge to Flushing Democrat Toby Stavisky in the 16th Senate District. “We won on merit and evidence.”

A five-judge panel ruled unanimously that Koo has lived in a Flushing condominium since January 2007, thereby meeting a residency requirement for Senate candidates.

Stavisky had challenged Koo’s status in state Supreme Court, saying Koo’s primary residence is actually in Port Washington, L.I.

Last Friday, state Supreme Court Justice James Dollard bounced Koo from the ballot, ruling the GOP hopeful, who has been cross-endorsed by the Conservative and Independence Parties, could only prove he has lived in Flushing since April.

To run for state Senate, a candidate must reside in the county in which they are running for at least one year prior to the election.

But the appellate court found that Koo did meet that residency requirement because he paid “more than $24,000 in New York City resident income taxes for tax year 2007.”

The justices also noted that Koo’s driver’s license lists his Flushing address, and that he has been registered to vote at that residence since May 2007.

Koo’s legal team presented the same evidence to Justice Dollard during hearings earlier this month. But Dollard deemed that Koo was not a “credible witness” and said that only his voter registration and driver’s license showed he lived in Flushing before April.

The appellate court’s unanimous decision means that Stavisky cannot appeal, according to Koo’s legal team.

But in a statement Thursday, Stavisky’s camp vowed to evaluate “the legal options available to hold Peter Koo accountable for this serious election fraud.”

“The decision is surprising since the state Supreme Court clearly found that Peter Koo does not meet the constitutional requirements and cannot be trusted to tell the truth to the people of Queens,” said Stavisky spokesman Joe Reubens.

Good Luck to Peter Koo

August 19, 2008

We will be at court today to appeal against the verdict announced last week. The best of luck to Peter. Hopefully the judges will give a fair verdict and put our campaign back on track.
